IMPORTANT: Managers & Game Sheets

Please review all information related to the roles of licensed club managers

Soccer Nova Scotia require the following from managers of licensed clubs.

As per the Licensed Agreement sent to clubs for the upcoming season:

3.9 Game Sheets
  • The official game sheet (GoalLine) shall be presented to the referee prior to the match and shall include team officials.
  • Academy teams shall verify the accuracy of game sheets and obtain a signed copy from the match officials after the match.
  • Academy teams shall supply game related incidents via Goaline and SNS shall maintain information related to player suspensions, additions or drops, or other eligibility issues.
Furthermore, with the pending deadline of registering players and team officials to the program, please review the following:

SECTION IV - PLAYER ELIGIBILITY AND TEAM ROSTERSĀ 

4.1 Player Registration
  • All registration shall be completed online through the SNS/clubs GoalLine player registration system & the SNS Academy GoalLine system.
  • Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Support Coaches & Technical Directors must be officially registered online on E2E CoachCentre and SNS Academy GoalLine system.

4.2 Registration Deadline
  • All personnel shall be registered by November 1st of the year of the SNS Academy season.
  • Players or coaches added during the season under Section 4.3 shall be registered as per the deadlines outlined in Section 4.3 (f).

4.3 Official Roster
  • Academy License Holders shall submit a roster of players for each age group gender permitted under its License Agreement.
  • Players listed on a roster are considered committed to their Academy License Holders from November 1st through September 30th of the year of the season of play.
  • A final roster shall be submitted by November 1st of the year of the season of play.
  • Failure to submit any player(s) in rosters by November 1st deadline shall result in their ineligibility to play in SNS Academy matches.
  • Player and team information must be updated and kept current.
  • Once the season has started, an Academy License Holder shall not release any players until either the official entry and exit point as outlined in the calendar OR completion of the Academy season on September 30th.
Finally, all payments to referees are cost shared with the opposition team for both indoor and outdoor schedules. The events will be covered by Soccer Nova Scotia
